First day of the rest of your Life

Hey all, I wanted to send you a positive note to brighten up your day and some thoughts to go along with it.

I remembered this quote, "Today is the first day of the rest of your life." I looked up who said it and the quote is attributed to Charles Dederick and they add that he is the founder of Synanon, a self-help community for drug abusers and alcoholics, based in California. I thought that was pretty interesting since we talk about mental health here.

If you think about this quote, it is always true tomorrow too. That's a pretty cool thought. If I make a mistake today, when tomorrow comes it starts a new day of the rest of my life. I have a new chance to start over and get up again and leave yesterday behind me in the past. Isn't that great! 😊

Remember, "Today is the first day of the rest of your life." You have a new chance to start over or anew. Go and have a brand new fresh day! ☀️
